- Not sure about the others, but the reason for the difference in Pokemon's case is because three of the early Pokemon films have recently been updated: Pokémon 3: The Movie, Pokémon 4Ever, and Pokémon Heroes. This page was updated to reflect that, but List of highest-grossing animated films doesn't seem to have been updated. Maestro2016 (talk) 12:23, 22 July 2018 (UTC)
Thanks for the above can you help make sure both pages match when need. Fanoflionking 18:02, 22 July 2018 (UTC)
- I've now updated Pokemon and several other anime franchises on the animated films page. Maestro2016 (talk) 18:08, 22 July 2018 (UTC)

- The edits I mentioned above have recently been reverted at the animated films page. If you want, you could try update the animated films page yourself, or discuss it there. Maestro2016 (talk) 16:02, 24 July 2018 (UTC)

Mixed Currencies causing table sort problems
Mixed JPY and USD in table (The by year table) causes sort problems where values given in Yen apear higher up than USD since ¥1 > $1
One solution would be to implement "data-sort-type" parameter. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:Sorting#Specifying_a_sort_key_for_a_cell
Another would be to show all values as USD.
As it is, the table unable to sort by currency, which may be important for a "List of highest-grossing anime films" page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by JeddMorgan (talk • contribs) 02:41, 24 March 2019 (UTC)
- Since the table is for "Highest-grossing anime films by year", it's not necessary to have a sorting function for that table, so I've removed the sorting from that table. Maestro2016 (talk) 22:04, 25 March 2019 (UTC)
It is time
Dose anyone know if it possible to crated a time line to f highest grossing anime films Fanoflionking 15:08, 16 September 2019 (UTC)
- the "Highest-grossing anime films by year" section should suffice that. Panda619 (talk) 18:04, 16 September 2019 (UTC)
We can expend it and add more films to it Fanoflionking 19:20, 19 September 2019 (UTC)
- A timeline table should consist of new records not just adding any film that's more than another of any year, for that there is "Highest-grossing anime films" section or yearly records for that there is "Highest-grossing anime films by year" section and the tables are sortable, with one click, a user can know timeline of records. Add Demon Slayer Mugen Train's Box Office to this page
Kimetsu No Yaiba: Demon Slayer Mugen Train grossed $44 Million in the opening weekend which should add it to the list of Highest-grossing anime films, Highest-grossing anime films in Japan, Highest-grossing anime films by year and Highest-grossing anime film franchises and film series. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ishaanshekhawat (talk • contribs) 04:46, 20 October 2020 (UTC)
- It's not a film series yet, as it's just one movie so far. Maestro2016 (talk) 05:56, 19 November 2020 (UTC)
